About Jethro Collins

Jethro moved from Yorkshire to Edinburgh in 1997 and now works here as a freelance photographer working on a wide range of subjects. His clients include commercial businesses, advertising agencies, public relations firms, newspapers and magazines, professional actors and models, film makers, publicists, public bodies and charities, to name a few.

In 2005 Jethro became an Adobe Photoshop Certified Expert, the industry standard image editing package. All of his work is digital and images are normally delivered as high resolution files on CD or DVD.

Q. Do you do weddings
A. Sorry no, it's a very specialist service and most of my work these days is aimed at the commercial and editorial market.

Q. What are your rates?
A. This depends on the type of commission and how you intend to use the images, please ask for a free quote.

Q. What areas do you cover?
A. I cover most of southern, central Scotland, and the Scottish borders.

Q. Are you able to cover large events?
A. On larger commissions, I am able to team up with other photographers to give you sufficient coverage of your event, please ask.

Q. Do you cover newsworthy events?
A.Yes I can wire out images to the press or email them so they can be given out with press releases.

Q. Do I retain copyright on the images you take?
A. If you need full control of your images then I can supply you with an exclusive, all rights, license. Please ask for details.

Q. Do you have lights and equipment that can be taken to our premises for location shoots?
A. Yes that's no problem, all of my equipment can be transported by car.

Q. I need some shots for an advertising shoot, can you arrange models?
A. Yes I can source models and employ all the necessary staff for a given shoot, on your behalf.

Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes I have insurance for indemnity and public liability.
